DuraFast Label Company has several matrix removal systems from manufacturers like Primera Technology and DPR. Matrix removal becomes necessary when you use pre-die cut label media with the matrix intact. Matrix removal systems unwind the label roll from one core to another, removing the matrix as the labels are rewound onto a new core. Matrix removal systems also include a label slitter which allows you to print multiple label designs across the width of the media and then later remove the matrix and slit the label roll into smaller individual rolls containing the different label designs.
