This Primera LX2000 print head is the standard replacement HP pigment ink print head required by Primera Technology's LX2000 color label printer. You will need to replace the Primera LX2000 print head periodically. Make sure to order the correct part designed specifically for your Primera LX2000 label printer and pigment inks. For best results, use the Primera LX2000 print head with OEM Primera LX2000 pigment ink cartridges and our LX900 labels, and for GHS BS5609 compliant labels use LX2000 GHS BS5609 labels designed specifically for the LX2000 and its pigment inks.
The LX2000 print head ships with four LX2000 starter ink cartridges to prime the print head. This process takes about ten minutes. Once that is done, you will need to install a fresh set of LX2000 ink cartridges.
