Job Description
DuraFast Label Company is currently in need of a qualified sales professional to manage channel, reseller, and business accounts. Our B2B sales professional would be responsible for building relationships with and selling label printing products to channel partners, resellers, and business end users.
Responsibilities:
- Provides service to existing channel partners, resellers, and business customers
- Calls on leads, prospects, and current customers
- Uses CRM software to maximize productivity
- Prepares presentations and sales materials
- Prepares proposals and quotations
- Shares knowledge about our products, refers to price lists and product literature
- Keeps management informed through regular updates such as daily call reports, reseller reports, and weekly goals.
- Monitors competition
- Attends industry trade shows and demonstrates our products to potential customers and end users
- Prepares and mails sample label kits
- Creates and prints sample labels for customers
- Investigates and resolves problems
- Evaluates results and competitive developments and recommends changes as needed
- Expands existing knowledge through training, networking, reviewing professional publications, and/or attendance at educational and professional development events.
- Maintains records
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidate should have some experience in the label printing industry and an understanding about labels and their production. Other skills include: sales skills, closing skills, negotiation skills, product knowledge, presentation and technical skills (i.e., PowerPoint, webinar software), customer service, problem solving, lead management, prospecting, ability to meet sales goals, confidence, motivation, and people skills.
Computer skills:
- Label design software skills - We sell BarTender and NiceLabel design software as part of our in-house labeling solutions. Candidate should be comfortable using and explaining the benefits of these products.
- Microsoft Office skills - Candidate should be computer literate and skilled in the use of Microsoft Office. Specific Office skills include writing sales letters and using mail merge in MS Word and creating sales quotes and industry comparisons in MS Excel.
