Job Description
DuraFast Label Company is currently in need of a qualified account manager to handle customers and develop new business opportunities. A successful account manager must also be able to establish relationships with and sell products to customers and business end users and will also report directly to sales manager; works with other sales professionals in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provides service to existing resellers and business customers
• Organizes daily work schedule to call on leads, prospects, and current customers
• Uses CRM software to maximize productivity
• Prepares sales materials and presentations
• Be able to make numerous cold calls
• Prepares quotations and proposals
• Shares knowledge about our products, refer to price lists and product literature
• Submits regular reports (i.e., daily call reports, reseller reports, and weekly goals) to keep management informed
• Monitors competition
• Investigates and resolves problems
• Evaluates results and competitive developments and recommends changes as needed
• Expands existing knowledge through training, networking, reviewing professional publications, and/or attendance at educational and professional development events.
• Maintains records
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidate should have some experience in the label printing industry and an understanding about labels and their production. Other skills include: sales skills, closing skills, negotiation skills, product knowledge, presentation and technical skills (i.e., PowerPoint, webinar software), customer service, problem solving, lead management, prospecting, ability to meet sales goals, confidence, motivation, and people skills.
Computer skills:
- Label design software skills - We sell BarTender and NiceLabel design software as part of our in-house labeling solutions. Candidate should be comfortable using and explaining the benefits of these products.
- Microsoft Office skills - Candidate should be computer literate and skilled in the use of Microsoft Office. Specific Office skills include writing sales letters and using mail merge in MS Word and creating sales quotes and industry comparisons in MS Excel.
